He's +6 runs in framing and ha 1.99 pop times to 2B and has thrown out a respectable 28%. Will the weight catch up to him as he gets older, sure, but for now he's good in every way but running speed.

I've honestly never seen jumps in velocities like we have with a few pitchers in season. It's pretty crazy. Baker's jump is pretty amazing.

I love the fact that pitchers are using right on right changeups more and more. Used to be an unwritten rule that you didn't use that pitch right on right or left on left, but I never understood why.

Agreed, no way they should have challenge that. It was obvious it was getting over turned. Whoever their video guy is just failed the team.

He's great at side to side and going back, but has always struggled on coming in on balls.

I hope they are right here, but I don't like taking Kremer out of his routine. He's earned the right to start in this piggy back situation.

I will say this, although we don't know how much money John will ultimately allow Elias to spend as the team readies for contention next year, it is clear that John was the much better fit to run the organization and I'm glad Louis has nothing to to with the team. John appears to have allowed Elias to run the team as he sees fit, something no GM was ever fully allowed to do while Peter was running the show.
