Right, and you don' want "average" relievers in high leverage situations. They are both better than they've been, but they are both guys that good teams don't have pitching in high leverage situations.

True, but we are in uncharted territory for a player drafted as high as he was and no one has seen him with a baseball in his hand since. He's not in Florida. No one seems to know why or are not saying why.

This right here is a big point. Fry and Arsmtrong are fine as 6th inning type guys or relievers you bring in the eat some innings, but you really need to limit their high leverage situations. Both are over exposed in that role.

They have a few guys who need to be a DH right now. Severino is not going anywhere. You just have to live with poor framing for now.

Mountcastle took a bad route, but that ball falls in on most fielders. It would have been a tough catch for a great outfielder.

If you look at his statcast info from last year it was pretty awful. He covers some of the least amount of ground out there and he has plus speed when on the way. this year his catch expectancy is beyond awful and it didn't get helped out by today.

You need to chill out ScOtt. If you are drinking, get off the Hangout. No one is hating on anyone. we are expressing valid concerns about Mountcastle's defense. Don't tell people to drop it.

He honestly didn't have a lot of challenging plays last year in the outfield. It pretty obvious when he has to make anything other than a routine play, he's going to struggle.
