  1. It will be interesting to see what they do with him. The fact he only pitched two innings in an intra squad games makes me scratch my chin.
  2. I've heard concerns over Akin. He came into the camp apparently heavier than usual and his command has not been there. He could end up in the bullpen if the Orioles decide to use LeBlanc there for a bit until he gets in better condition.
  3. I'd love to see the new collective bargain agreement be that you control a player your draft or sign until they are 26 years old if out of high school, and 27 years old out of college with unlimited options. It would be like the old days with players debuting at 19-years old. This way every players has an opportunity to become a free agent when they hit their prime years (27-31).
  4. Mountcastle has always been a slow starter in spring from what I understand, but I have zero worries over his bat.
  5. Lol, more like they may be working with him on something or he tweaked something.
  6. Interesting that Rutschman has not been seen since that game.
  7. 3/20 Good night for Matt Harvey, the Rule 5 picks, and Pat Valaika.
  8. I'm fairly certain Elias will be watching the waiver wire for catchers, but if none are available, they're going to go with Severino and Sisco.
  9. Updated with 3/17 and 3/19 action. LeBlanc is the big winner here with Mountcasle, Mancini, and Santander starting to hit.
  10. KY.. It's always a pleasure. Always great have KY in the house!
  11. As soon as I say that he throws a great two seamer with good arm side run at 95 MPH
  12. Hanhold's fastball looks pretty straight, and not a ton of spin.
  13. hey, say what you want, Mercedes go a major league at bat last year and is ranked the 15th best prospect in the White Sox system. I always liked his bat but his defense was awful.
  14. Wow, that was a heck of a throw from a 6-foot-7 shortstop!
  15. Yeah, i saw him the last time the O's played the Pirates. He's gotta be 98th percentile spring speed. Would love to see his times.
  16. Cumberland is an organizational catcher for me. maybe an up down guy at best. Maverick Handley could potentially be a back up due to his plus defense. The jury is out on the offense.
  17. That a ball the left field needs to make.
  18. Ha, a little Savant research and it shows he's never gotten a base hit off a breaking ball at the major league level.
  19. I'm just guessing here because I've seen very little of Ciuffo, but I'm guessing he struggles on breaking pitches. lol
  20. Whoops, you are right. I looked at Savant and got the pitch count then looked at game day for the boxscore and it was locked up!
  21. 43 in two innings. Takes a lot of pitches when you are throwing everything but the kitchen sink up there.
  22. WC will not like this at all, but LeBlanc is probably going to make this team.
  23. Pirate announcer: That runner on third has really been hard to get in. What do you think KY? KY: I think we can get it in.
  24. Tough room to try and be funny!
  25. A few times the announcer seemed stuck, but once KY got started, the broadcast just glided along.
