Wow Dipper. The first drink I would have passed out.

He has played 3 of the last 7 about what you should expect I’d rather go 4 wynns Joseph 3 but it not been a huge difference.
I also think they may be trying to build up Joseph trade value down the stretch I could see him moved in August.
Maybe you are right.

Probably won't see Wynns again until the doubleheader Saturday...Maybe. Buck might start Joseph both games...
I gave up on Buck. I am grateful for what he did though. I just think it's time for a change.

Wynns FTW
I'm afraid it won't matter how well he played. Buck will probably start Caleb next game.

One of the players from the Schoop trade has arrived, in 27-year old veteran infielder, Jonathan Villar. He was added to to the 25-man roster today, per Roch.
What do you think about Villar? He's stolen bases well in the past and had an outstanding 2016. It seems he's someone that could regain value... but I wouldn't expect it.
Thoughts on him? Will he take over 2B regularly?I am happy to have him on the O's. I'm optimistic about him.

He will now. I think one of the most under rated players in hangout land here. This one is going to hurt. This trade is not good unless this slot money leads to Victor Victor Mesa.
Sorry but I disagree with you.

I am really glad the Orioles got Diaz. However, I find it odd how the Manny deal was centered around a hittter instead of a pitcher. Does anyone else find that odd as well? Do the Orioles have more of a hitting problem right now instead of a pitching problem?
One good thing is he could sign long term in LA. No stinking Yankees or BoSox.

So we get 1 organizational top 10 prospect and it wasn't even their best guy. I just threw up in my mouth.
Sorry you threw up in your mouth. Yuck. I just hope these guys work out for the O's. You can never tell. One of these guys could become a top player.

I just wanted them to get the best deal they could for Manny. I don't know how to answer your question. I don't know.

How is it that, in this 24-64 season, Buck's harshest criticism to date was directed at Ryan Mountcastle.
Maybe Buck see something in Ryan and wants him to be successful. Work hard. Why waste your breath on Davis and other vets like him? They won't be around when this team becomes good again. I don't know. Just a thought.

Moose you are a cruel and sick man. Here is a guy, who has retired twice and chose not to take his remaining salary. How many players have done that? He didn't play up to his expectations, yet crap all over the guy. The O's decided to give him a chance, it didn't work out, not a big deal. I never expected much from the man, he didn't make this team worse, he didn't hold back any developing player. I saw an interview with him in the Spring and he seemed thankful for the chance to see if he could get healthy and play again. It was a goodwill gesture by the O's to a guy they tried to get a couple of years back. So, go ahead Moose, if it makes you feel better dumping on a guy that realized he could no longer play and had balls enough to do something about it, go right ahead. Moderators, I am surprised you let this go on.
What the hell? I wish no ill will to Rasmus. But he sure could have done things a lot better. Like notify Buck several days in advance he was going to quit. Way he did it left the O's short handed in Philly.

What a bust and complete waste of money....How different things might've been with John Jay
Maybe not much. Rasmus should have let Buck know several days in advance he was going to quit. What he did was a bs move.

How old is he now? And I disagree. Even if when he is 32 (how long do we hold rights?), his arm wouldn't have had any wear or tear, I'd still give him a shot if he wanted.
Let him leave for the NBA.

That's a possibility there could be someone worse. If the Orioles ever leave Baltimore then I'm done as a fan.

Here’s a thought. They shouldn’t have sent Joseph down in the first place. This club makes some really moronic decisions. Joseph’s bat was heating up too.
I disagree. This team is going nowhere this season. I think it's best to give the young guys a chance. Why not see what they got in minor league players? We all know about Caleb.

That's kinda bad. These players could be innocent of taking any kind of drug.
