I didn't vote in this thread, which is unusual for me. I remember at the time feeling kind of "meh" about it. I think Tony wound up being right. Parra has been pretty awful while he's been here.
He's going to need a LOT more innings next year to be considered a starter in 2016. I thought the consensus among scouts was that he was going to be a reliever?
Jury is still out on Parra for me. He's good defensively, but I don't think he's great. He does have a GREAT arm.
I like his approach at the plate, as he seems to be a tough out. I'd like to see more results, though.
While I wouldn't object to Bedard moving to the pen, my favorite move for him right now would be the old "change of scenery".
I still think his value could be decent, and a team could be blinded by his "stuff" and think they could turn him around.
