  1. I am. I have sort of avoided it out of a curmudgeon anti-podcast bias. But I should check it out.
  2. I hate talking on the TV during play of all sorts. The MST2k style banter of this thread is different.
  3. Cthulhu is a Red Sox fan.
  4. It has oomph but no mojo.
  5. That was a hit me hard fastball. Lordy.
  6. Yikes. His fastball looks like the straight dead one tonight.
  7. I work at a place that has a turf scientist.

  13. He’s been like that more often than not for several years.
  14. I don’t enjoy watching Kimbrel…it’s all waiting for the other shoe to drop.
  15. It’s the benefit everyone gets from putting on the tools of ignorance. Locking up an elite catcher is an easy move for both sides.
  16. RIP. He loved the city and the team.
  17. Top of the list of people covering things up are Ohtani’s lawyers—for themselves not their client. The first they heard of this was when the LA times called them?
  18. Once an organization gets competent, it’s difficult discerning what are marginal innovations, truly radical insights, and simply stars fortuitously aligning.
  19. Well yeah, my snide remark was more about the Cohen hype than how to build a team—the recipes for which haven’t changed much for a decade plus or so.
