1. Anyone have updates on any others during Spring Training?
2. Nelson Cruz, hitting .080 in Spring Training, he is 2-25, with 1HR and 1RBI
3. Yeah, I agree about the Yanks, if you buy older players, injuries happen. I don't think we got hit that hard this year, but last season was hard. It may not have calculated up to the amount of others, but it was who was hurt (or out like Davis' suspension) and the time they happened to be out.
4.

I see you mentioned that you are a youth pastor in West Palm Beach. I'm a youth pastor in the Bahamas and visit West Palm a lot. Which church are you at?

5. I don't have an issue with the trade in and of itself. I just think we should have been sellers.
6. Not blaming Parra, but pointing out how little the needle has moved compared to playing Snider, Reimold and company out there.
7. What has our record been since trading for Parra? Has the offense been better? What about the OF defense?
8. As Roch posted, at least we got the game in and avoided a double header
9. In this past offseason, would you have given up Davies for Parra?
10. Can we go on one? I remember not having many losing streaks last year, but it didn't seem like we had any long winning streaks either. [video=youtube;MLCLMEYp9s0]
11. I pray this gets used over and over again this year
12. He really intrigues me. Anyone think we see him up in 2015? How's his defense, the thing you need to have to play for Buck?
13. If you really want to find out how much injuries hurt a team, do a comparison of WAR of Player A compared to the player who took his place to see how much injuries affected a particular team. For example, compare Weiters WAR to Joseph/Hundley and see the difference.
14. When I said to redo the numbers, I did not mean that a starting pitcher is worth more or less than a position player. The listing was giving just games missed, not how much they meant to the team. We could talk about that too, but let's list the acual games that the starting pitchers would have missed so we have a fair comparison on that single piece of information alone.
15. The difference is it happened to our young "stars", both offensive and defensively. Look at that Boston list, no real injuries to their top players. Tampa got hurt with Moore missing a lot. NY-I'm sorry, I have no sympathy. When you sign aging players, that is a risk you have to take. And no good player really missed much games for Toronto. Also, when you list games missed by starting pitchers, you aren't figuring the games that they would have played in (only 1/5 of the games), you are figuring in all of the games. Redo the numbers like that please and let's recount.
16. Ten games up with nineteen to play. Has anyone ever blown a lead this big at this point?
17. I love it; let's do it, just let's not pass LAA for the first seed. We want the AL Central winner and not Oakland.
18. And thankful we don't have to face Houston this year. They're really coming on.
19. What we really need during this difficult stretch of games is another nice long losing streak from the AL East.
20. Don't forget Jason Hammel's line Saturday vs Baltimore.
21. The thing is, you could tell it was coming for New York. Some day they were going to have to pay the piper for signing older players. It happened last year and this year.
22. Easier to find and track; I like looking at how our former guys are doing.
23. Thanks; and is there anyway this can go back to the O's section? Please?
