  1. Yeah it probably didn't have a heck of a lot of impact on him, but it's just really kind of unwarranted to a degree. I'm sure the kid is plenty mentally tough to continue on his ridiculous path.
  2. I guess they feel like Kjerstad > Stowers. Still, kind of baffling that it's McKenna, but whatever. Rough first go-round for #7. Maybe we shouldn't make every prospect's debut a media circus.
  3. Gunnar's at bats in his last couple games have been amazing... reaching out on a changeup to dink a double down the left field line, pulling his hands allllllllllllllll the way in to muscle a 2 RBI dinker over a drawn-in infield. I mean... the dude does it all. His defense is above average. He is an excellent baserunner. He's aggressive. He knows the strike zone to the half inch. We're lucky to have him.
  4. Another K on a borderline pitch tonight. I’m ok with those.
  5. He’s leaving all of his off speed stuff up. And they’re not missing it.
  6. C’mon…. you’ve clearly got diarrhea.
  7. Kremer is gonna be in the rotation if he’s healthy.
  8. I've seen so many pitchers come up and stink in my lifetime after superb AAA performances. It's nice that he's succeeding but I wouldn't want to depend on him quite yet.
  9. He would have had an RBI double last night if the ball didn't get "stuck" under the wall. Kjerstad would have easily scored. I didn't get to see the entire game, unfortunately. I did get to see Kjerstad with some really superb swing decisions. He looks pretty locked in. It's a shame about the myocarditis, still blows my mind that he's 25.
  10. This has happened to him at least a handful of times, and the take is actually a good thing IMO. Most umpires don't totally whiff like that. Getting outta dodge for a few games should help him a bit.
  11. How about both!??!?!
  12. This is our #7 hitter. Alrighty!
  13. #5 for Creed man tonight.
  14. I’ve seen him K on a couple of pitches off the plate he didn’t flinch on. They were not strikes, he took them, they were called strike 3. It’s encouraging to me to see him not expanding the zone too much yet.
  15. They're all pretty good, generally. Except maybe one. I still miss Joe Angel. I feel as if I was spoiled in my formative years.
  16. Do they do MRI's along the way during these rehabs to see if the ligament looks any different/better? Or do they just fire in the PRP and hope for the best?
  17. Now that I have scrolled through 37 pages of takes to confirm that I didn't post mine, I'll say that I was overjoyed with this move when it was initially made.
  18. Shhhhhhhhhhh!!!!! 3 year old present!!!
