Rosenthal in The Athletic says that the Rays had a deal in place for Flaherty but it fell apart. Would have been awesome if that deal went through and he was ****ting these bricks for them instead of us. We'd probably be a few more games up. Or he'd go there and be dominant. No way to tell.

And perhaps I don't follow the NL a whole lot but I guess I've missed the boat on Adam Wainwright and what makes him so special. But, whatever. I hope we pound him tonight with no remorse and give Means a lot of runs to work with.
