I would be first in line for the MLB.TV app but the games I want are blacked out. I'd gladly pay whatever they'd want to charge to ditch DirecTV and just have the MLB.TV in order to watch Orioles games without having to jump through my own asshole to figure out a VPN workaround (even though, I admit, when I had it working well I felt like I was sticking it to the man a little bit and that was fun). MLB.TV is actually really cool but the blackouts are just stupid. And there's no good reason for them. None.

Whatever it is, you can bet that Nike didn't assign their top design team to the Orioles jersey.

Man, you had better luck with it than I had, that's for sure. It would work great for weeks at a time, then I couldn't get it to work for about a week. Nord VPN was one of the VPNs that I was using, I also used Express VPN, both with varying degrees of success.

I screwed around with this for two years, it was annoying. Sometimes it worked great, other times not so much. Eventually I caved and got DirecTV, strictly to watch the Orioles. I hate paying for it, but I also hated screwing around with the VPN for 15-20 minutes before the game started to get it to work, sometimes not getting it to work at all.

And he's a .254 career hitter. Ozzie Smith batted .262. Bill Mazeroski batted .260. Apparently it's okay for elite, defense first infielders to have low batting averages and make the Hall but not an outfielder. Only .006 points behind Maz but .25 looks waaaaay different than .26 does. And Jones also doesn't have a MOMENT like Maz did.

But I thought you said I could watch all of your games? "You can, just not the ones that are local." Well, alright, I guess. But I don't have cable, so how can I watch Orioles games? "DirecTV! But only the second most expensive package. The base package won't do." Okay. "But some games will be on Apple TV, too!" So I need that? "Just as long as you have an Apple TV, iPhone, iMac or iPad. And the games are free!" How long are they free for? "Until we tell you otherwise!" But those games won't be streamed on DirecTV, right? "Correct." I thought you said you wanted to make sure that as many people can have access to MLB games as possible. "We totally do!" **** you, MLB.

Said it Monday, I'll say it again here. The at bat quality is tremendous. He sees a lot of pitches. It's awesome and must-see. First multi-hit game last night.
