I can't remember what year it was, but there was a stretch where it looked like he was putting it all together. When he was on, he looked great. Unfortunately he was usually walking too many batters.

I don't think it's uncommon that an island, especially one that small, is more expensive than the mainlands. If you can't get things on the island naturally such as food, it needs to be imported, driving the prices up. I don't know much about Aruba but I'm assuming the main thing that drives the economy is tourism.
