  1. If that happens, we're most likely in a good situation.
  2. Yes. The reports on Henderson out of the satellite camp last summer were encouraging. Westburg seems to have some good upside, too.
  3. That's about where I am. I'm hoping that someone in the system steps up at SS and is ready for OD 2022 or to be called up partway through 2022.
  4. Good looking out, that's not a bad deal. Might nix YouTube TV when the season starts and pick up AT&T TV. I'm assuming it's a month to month plan.
  5. The broadcast team is Geoff Arnold, Kevin Brown, Scott Garceau, Brett Hollander, Rob Long, Ben McDonald, Melanie Newman and Jim Palmer.
  6. Yep. Watching a game with Thorne and Palmer was a treat no matter what the score was. And Tony is correct, Thorne was a national announcer, he brought a feeling of gravitas to the game despite the fact that it was a regional thing.
  7. Beats me. I don't really get it but I am sure they're happy being in the stone age and pissing off their fans even more. The team is already hard enough to watch, be thankful some of us still want to watch it and make it easier for us to do so.
  8. Well at least if you were going to watch bad baseball, you could have a guy with a great voice telling you about it.
  9. That makes sense, but unless I'm missing something the RSNs would stand to make more additionally if they would stream on YoutubeTV, hulu, sling, etc. Oh wait, that's right. A lot of them already do. Except for MASN.
  10. ....exactly. I'd pay more for MLB.tv because it would mean I am NOT PAYING FOR CABLE. I'd probably drop my YoutubeTV subscription and just pick it up again in the winter months to be able to watch football. I don't even watch that much espn anymore.
  11. I've never understood the blackout rules. Like back in the day, I think the thinking was "attendance is down, if we don't air the games on TV...people will come to the games." Which might have worked in 1975. But if thats what they're thinking now, then...there's no way I'm leaving my cool, air conditioned house with all my food and snacks and a big comfy couch and a 65 inch tv to drive 2 hours and bake outside to watch this team play. No. I'm going to use technology to figure out the answer to my problem. It's not my problem that MLB.tv hasn't figured out a way, apparently, to include in-market games in that package. I'd gladly pay more for MLB.tv each year if they did so.
  12. Exactly. Which makes me think it will take another 5+ years until they put it on a streaming platform.
  13. Yep, exactly. It's terrible. The only reason I have YoutubeTV is to watch some ESPN and watch WFT games and NFL playoff games. It's almost NOT worth it...it would be worth if it had MASN.
  14. Pretty sure MASN has decided not to put it's channels on streaming platforms like YouTube TV or Hulu.
  15. The bolded part is why it's BS. Cable subscriptions suck. The part that SG and I are griping about is that it's not a part of something like YouTube TV or another TV streaming product. If you want to cut the cable cord, there are a lot of great ways to do it...I really like YouTubeTV. It drives me crazy that MASN isn't a part of it, but CSN DC is, so I can watch the Wizards (big deal, I don't care) but not the Orioles/Nats.
  16. Had my hopes up, knew it would be too good to be true. I don't particularly like subscribing to MLB.TV each year and then having to jerry rig a connection with a VPN and hope that it works...it usually does, but there are times where it doesn't...I don't like breaking the rules, but LOOK AT WHAT YOU MAKE ME DO, MASN.
  17. It doesn't mean a damn thing if you have to have a cable package to access it. Hey MASN, if you're reading, pick one and suck it.
  18. These are good stats. But he seems to turn almost any flyball into an adventure. He doesn't pass the eye test and it has nothing to do with his build, IMO.
  19. Is Stewart your new DSJR? I can get on board with that.
  20. Well you're never wrong about anything.
  21. If someone sees where Thorne winds up, post it here. As an MLB.tv subscriber, I'd turn into whatever team he's broadcasting for just to hear that voice.
  22. You can bet if a thread has reached 21 pages on the OH, the topic has changed. I'm growing increasingly skeptical of Santander being on the OD roster. At the very least, I don't think he'll be here after the trading deadline, especially if Diaz is somehow raking in AA or AAA.
  23. Fair enough, but I think we can agree that it was a small sample size.
