  1. He's given up 2 runs in the 6th inning all year. Always the 6th inning? Come on, Roy.
  2. No, it's not. He's actually been very good in the 6th inning. It's the 7th inning you need to worry about.
  3. He allows a lower OPS in the 6th than he does in the 1st, 2nd, and 4th innings. His 6th inning OPS is .614.
  4. 31% of the time. It's bad luck, though.
  5. Santander is about to pass O'Hearn and Mountcastle in OPS and Gunnar in HR's. He's heating up after all of the shade this board threw at him, like they've never seen him play before.
  6. This is the HR to Sosa and the double to Bohm (5). It's not like they hit bad pitches.
  7. Two good hitters at the plate, it's not like they hit great pitches, the slider was belt high spinning just off the corner, it wasn't a great pitch to Sosa, he just hit a ball up a bit off the plate.
  8. This isn't remotely close to being true.
  9. I doubt it, he's just not the ace everything keeps saying he is.
  10. What about him? We're talking about Colton Cowser hitting terribly for 2 months now. Why does there need to be a comparison to other players? I care what Cowser does, not what Rodriguez or Carroll do, they are just lazy comps to continue to prop a strawman.
  11. I'd imagine it's hard to start a streak when you hit the ball on the ground a lot and strikeout 31% of the time. Rodriguez has been worth 5.5 WAR+ in the past two seasons, I don't think I'd worry too much about him.
  12. It was 71 in May and it's 58 in June. It's 112 thanks to a ridiculously unsustainable 182 in March/April. I think we are starting to see a trend now and it's been going in the wrong direction since the hot streak through mid April.
  13. That means little if he doesn't hit. He had a .580 OPS in May and .549 halfway through June. At some point, the results with the bat have to matter.
  14. I wish I had your faith in Cano, he couldn't even get 3 outs last night.
  15. Crochet is intriguing but he's having a breakout at the worst possible time for the CWS. There is no way he can pitch all season long without the risk of breaking him again after pitching just 12IP last year coming back late from TJS. They are going to value him as a #1 starter and he likely won't be available to pitch all season long. I've been reading/hearing that CWS are going to keep him around 20 starts or so, he's at 15 now.
  16. The win now thing should extend past this season. They could trade the farm away to try and be completely all in or they could punt the season, trade Burnes at the deadline, bring the kids up like they intended to last year, and see what you have in them. I'm sure they'll be trying to go all in, but wouldn't complain about the second scenario.
  17. They reportedly wanted Westburg plus.
  18. Game winning hit? STFU, Kevin, the game isn't over.
  19. Seranthony Dominguez, it's your time to fail!
  20. These guys are being worked into the ground.
  21. Damn, Hays seemed like he should have had that.
  22. Yet we have a lower ERA than them in the pen, they must have a few with inflated ERAs.
  23. We're missing some of ours too. Nobody feels bad for either team.
  24. It had to be someone else, sadly.
