I don't know if there is a switch hitter with more HRs than Santander over the past few years, power gets paid, I suspect they give him a QO and he gets a longer deal elsewhere.

This is Crochet's first full year back from TJS after 12 IP last year. You'd have to think if you are trading for him, it's not for this year, but next year as he's likely only got a few more starts left him if he's handled responsibly, which he should be, coming back from TJS. He's under control through the 2026 season and there is value in that even though he's arb eligible and will likely get a nice bump in salary.

The Yankees have great pitching to date. With the exception of two players they aren't exactly the scariest lineup on earth and shouldn't be elevated to the '27 Yankees status.

He had a hot 21-game stretch to start the season and has been a terrible hitter since the last week in April. He's been a bad hitter a lot longer than he has been a good hitter. He's striking out 31% of the time and he's been basically a net zero with the bat for nearly 2 months. That should not be beyond criticism, and the fact that it BLOWS YOUR MIND shows that it isn't difficult to do. His defense has been great but his OPS in May was .580 and his OPS in June is low .520's after today.

One thing I can say without a shadow of a doubt, is that regardless of what happens tomorrow, I'd feel a hell of a lot better right now if we were up 2-0.

Series has been great so far. They had plenty of chances to win last night, and made it a little easier today. They get punched in the mouth and get right back up and punch back. I await the 14-10 final in tomorrows game.

Two aces on the mound tomorrow will probably be a 15-10 game.

I try to joke around but I never post with crazy over-reactions. I love baseball but to me it's just a game, I don't get down or spirit crushed because it's not real life for me, it's just fun.

If we won last night we'd be in a position to sweep, but at least the fans are set up for a psychological advantage or something for tomorrow, maybe.
