We tried that with the best prospect in all of baseball and that didn't go as planned. They can hit AAA pitching, bit different to think they'll come right up and hit up here.

During a slide into 2B he did something. He was flexing his left knee repeatedly and didn't look comfortable. Didn't take 3rd on a ball he probably could have and was sort of trying to work the kinks out of the knee by bending it over and over. He stayed in the game, so that's a good sign.

I don't know, I have downvoted a few times on this board, and it has always been when someone has said something completely off the wall inappropriate or offensive. It doesn't matter anyway, years ago neg rep affected you, now it's just a dumb red arrow from the same 5 or 6 names all the time and nobody cares what their opinion is for the most part.

You would have missed the first one because he was thrown out at second. The second hit was a chop over the 1B man's head. He did hit some balls hard which is a good sign.

I'm not sure how you've come to the conclusion that a LHP that misses a ton of bats has no role on this team either this year or next.

The thing that scares me is Means is a big fly ball pitcher, and in that park, anything can happen with a ball in the air.

If Palmiero can win one with 28 games played at 1B, I'd think they should qualify.

We already have one OF in bubble wrap, we don't need a 2nd in Chisholm.

This is all well and good, but go look at the other 7 years. They all look the same and just one year looks like 2023. That's called an outlier.
