Hays is terrible, he has a .490 OPS in 3 games. Westburg is right behind him at .522 OPS. If Westburg is going to be a key, he's going to have to hit at some point.

Well sure, but when we knew that he wasn't playing it wasn't an option. He would likely have been the #2 anyway if he were healthy.

I guess I'm not that impressed so far this season. He's had two hits and both were with a drawn-in infield, they were timely, but both are likely easy routine outs if the infield isn't in. He's not smoking the ball. I'm hoping he shows out, but he honestly hasn't been impressive at all at the plate.
