I suspect it would have to be if they were getting a starter back for next year, I think they only have Gausman, Bassitt and Berrios for next years rotation that they can build off of.

Apparently, the Jays have said any pending FA are available as they are going to be buyers and sellers this off-season. They think they have enough players with control to contend next year. It would look like Kikuchi from the rotation if they are trading someone.

Watching Steele be unhittable with 90 mph stuff and like 2 pitches gives me hope for Povich.

It's one of the things that gives real perspective. I've loved this team for more than 40 years and watch every night I can with MLB.tv but losses don't hang with me, I guess baseball just doesn't feel like real life when you have to see the most horrible things. I do understand this is not a perspective that most people take with regard to their favorite team and I don't fault people for it.

I don't disagree with that, but Gunnar and Westburg have made bad plays in this game and have been as equally as effective as Mullins with the bat. I have the luxury of loving this team but I'm not emotionally tied to wins or losses, they don't bother me, I've seen the leanest of years and watched teams devoid of all talent lose a lot. This slump doesn't bother me at all, I know they will make moves, I know they will be a good second-half team and I know they will go to the playoffs. I told a mother her son was shot in the head on Tuesday night and is no longer with us. Baseball is what I watch to relax, I can't imagine freaking out over a bad stretch, but that's just me.
