  1. I still see them as a player for him. Glasnow breaks every year, Ohtani and Yamamoto are going to need lots of additional rest, they aren't afraid to spend money. I also see the Giants in there as well and the Cubs wouldn't shock me either. I think he'll have enough suitors to get close to what he's looking for.
  2. Yeah, I just mentioned in another thread I wouldn't be shocked if on some days we see Hays in CF and Kjerstad in LF at home.
  3. I'm all for letting him play and seeing what they have. Better to get an idea now on what you have. It's not out of the question that he's going to end up with OPS around Mullins' if he stays on his current pace, but he helps on defense. I won't be shocked on some days if we see Hays in CF and Kjerstad in LF at home, though.
  4. They aren't trading for a good RH CF, in my opinion, and I'd hate for them to trade for a guy like Tommy Pham, which is about what I'd expect.
  5. I'd say he'll get 5 years at the very minimum with 6 to 7 quite likely.
  6. It just feels like to me they are all pressing right now. They aren't sneaking up on anyone this year and they don't seem to be playing loose. I have a good feeling once the ASG stuff is over and they are back into their routine, they'll play better baseball. These are young kids getting a ton of national attention and expectation, they'll get through it.
  7. I'm not sure it wasn't described well on the radio.
  8. He played CF last night didn't he? I had to listen to the game but I thought Hays was in LF.
  9. Like I said he might have thought it was foul, he still made it close but he would have been easily safe.
  10. He should have had a hit last night which would have put 2 runners on with no outs but he was admiring a Baltimore chop and stood in the box, maybe he thought it was foul or something. As it was he still made the play close, but he definitely had an IF hit if he ran out of the box.
  11. Ever seen Westburg play second base? He's pretty damned good there and a big upgrade from Mateo. You seem to think the only way to get Mayo on the team is at 1B, that's just wrong.
  12. I would rather he play 3B yes. Ever seen Gunnar Henderson try and throw a ball to first? You need someone there who can make great scoops and catches.
  13. He hasn't been great there either.
  14. I find it interesting that we've not faced Stroman one time this year and won't this weekend, either.
  15. Yeah, but when I said he's likely a platoon bat people freaked out, he just needs to learn to hit LHP. Now some guy on Twitter posts something about LHP and everyone is on board lol.
  16. There are 3 pitchers in all of baseball ahead of him in innings pitched and one of them is by 2 innings, Logan Webb and he has 20 starts to Burnes' 19. How many guys can you expect to pitch into the 7th and 8th and give up 1 run or less? None is probably the correct answer.
  17. Oh, I've been saying this for weeks. I agree.
  18. Deep breaths, don't you want to save some of your lifespan for the Giants season? They are likely to make us more crazy than the O's. Elias will make moves by the end of the month and this team will go to the playoffs and all bets are off there.
  19. Oh, the team in 1st place with one of the best records in baseball? Sounds like he's delivered.
  20. What did Elias promise? I must have missed it.
  21. Weeks? We could only wish it were weeks, it's been months.
  22. Way to hustle out of the box, Colton.
  23. Because he thinks without emotion and doesn't make knee-jerk decisions.
  24. Damned Mountcastle swinging at terrible pitches again.
