  1. Agree 100%. Bautista is fine. His stuff is still looking good and i expect this is just a bump in the road. Cano though...he needs to be moved from the 8th and only start clean innings for a bit. I believe after today he has now allowed 7 of his last 9 inherited runners to score dating back to July. His pitches appear very hittable these days and i would be worried about him going forward.
  2. Yep. No reason to consider pitching to him there. Just blind stupidity
  3. Man, all these quick pulls are so disheartening
  4. Like the deal. Keep adding to the prospect and lottery ticket pile. Sulser was always frustrating to me. Overall good numbers last season but it's seems every time he was brought in to pressure situation, he faltered. As far as Scott, disappointed to see him go but one wonders if he is what he has shown to be. Opens up two spots on the 40 as well
  5. In s season of baby steps and small victories, it's good to see RM has appeared to weather the early season struggles and is starting to hit the ball a bit better. With today's 2 hits, he now has a 7-game hitting streak and has been on base 10 straight games. Strike outs are still concerning but he only had 1 in the 3 games in Oakland.
  6. We waited 4 months for that?!?!? Ugh. expecting more games like that but very disappointing for opening day. No visions of this team capturing hardware but some of the roster decisions which appeared to be based on status of their position on the 40 man became questionable in 1 game which is unacceptable. I have no problems with seeing Carroll so that we can figure out what he is after the injury but Hess is a dumpster fire. He shouldn't be on the 40 man. I wonder if he shouldn't be on the 60 man. I have to believe the front office still feels bad for pulling him from the no-hitter last year. I think we are all only watching for the Hays, Santanders, etc on the roster and last night didn't exactly make me excited for any future.
