  1. Until they promoted Grenier to get Hall more time at short.
  2. I'm sure any of the local teams would welcome your donation. I'm equally sure none of them are interested in paying for it themselves.
  3. So? You want to spend millions to upgrade a stadium to cut down drive time by three hours? There is no need to have the AAA affiliate any closer.
  4. A four hour drive isn't far. A player can easily be contacted after a game ends and be at OPACY by noon the following day and not be overly fatigued. Other than for the convenience of fans why would you need to be closer?
  5. I'm not sure why.this sentiment to dump Norfolk is so prevalent. It's a nice ballpark in an area worthy of a AAA team. I guess folks just want someplace closer, which is weird since Norfolk isn't exactly far. It's what a four hour drive from Camden?
  6. I think he's trying to rile up the fan bases. He tweeted a picture of a ticket to Boston a few days ago.
  7. I'm eager to see how Jasson turns out.
  8. He's smart but he isn't smart enough to realize he isn't that smart.
  9. A's go down and notice who didn't pitch at all for the A's? Mike Fiers. Odd eh? I still say his change of heart had everything to do with him pitching for a division rival. Well grats Mike, you got your AL West championship.
  10. I firmly believe all teams cheat ever time they think they can get away with it. Astros just had someone nark on them.
  11. https://news.yahoo.com/gunnar-henderson-orioles-youngest-prospect-141100402.html?guce_referrer=aHR0cHM6Ly93d3cuZ29vZ2xlLmNvbS91cmw_c2E9dCZyY3Q9aiZxPSZlc3JjPXMmc291cmNlPXdlYiZjZD0mdmVkPTJhaFVLRXdqVDVKR1J2NlBzQWhWa2tlQUtIWG1oQmVJUUZqQUVlZ1FJQlJBQyZ1cmw9aHR0cHMlM0ElMkYlMkZuZXdzLnlhaG9vLmNvbSUyRmd1bm5hci1oZW5kZXJzb24tb3Jpb2xlcy15b3VuZ2VzdC1wcm9zcGVjdC0xNDExMDA0MDIuaHRtbCZ1c2c9QU92VmF3MVU0cTZpNWM1bFlIVGlJTGd0amR4bw&guce_referrer_sig=AQAAAJOFXS5OAoGoZE6-4WSwrhRGW14pX0FQBDAiLCQsMhbxQsr2Pl2GoFDOcIWTkDi7nwrWFkTT_66fH88CHgQDg9Kgr3lJE-ScSK_3ctxQ8ROs5lmO2J6ja4UvPsYUk5OyzsXQUnuANOADTygKX_ra6rrIcOiDUIML_xZLw8RERARz I understand that not all the pitching he was facing was AA or higher. For instance the O's top two pitching prospects have not pitched at AA yet. However he faced higher level pitching than he would see in Delmarva.
  12. If he adjusted to the higher level pitching he faced in Bowie, as we have been told, wouldn't that indicate that Delmarva wouldn't be the level he'd be best suited for?
  13. It will be entertaining if the Astros go through the Yankees and Dodgers and win another WS. So many folks will be salty.
  14. https://www.baltimoresun.com/sports/orioles/bs-sp-orioles-instructs-breakdown-20201006-btw75k6hpbdcznk2ptov56ozmi-story.html
  15. If I'm a team and I know an ump consistently calls pitches that are in a particular zone outside of the strike zone strikes I would attempt to take advantage.
  16. There is also just the fact that the better overall infield prospects are predominantly playing shortstop when drafted. Not a lot of HS second basemen being looked at as viable professional prospects.
  17. Ack. You know what is productive? Not making an out.
  18. Because if what they said was true he won't be challenged. Other than Grenier, whose promotion wasn't merit based, and AR who was a show pony, who had an in-season promotion from one minor league level to another in 2019?
  19. Talking about proper bullpen usage?
  20. It will be disappointing if they brought Henderson to Bowie at his age only to send him to Delmarva next year.
  21. How? I wasn't talking about to the majors, just one level.
  22. I'm pretty sure that, for instance, Hall could have been promoted mid-season without causing a service time crisis.
  23. Just the senior stats of some random former Gatorade player of the year. I for one am amazed he managed to do well without proving himself at every minor league level first.
