I don't know about forced but from what I've seen and heard folks in Florida are back out shopping in force. Between the stimulus checks hitting accounts and the better than expected news about the spread of the virus folks are just out there, and bringing the whole family along with them. I'm not sure what can be done about it but at this point I'm expecting this behavior to result in an uptick in cases down here.

I remember watching the sports reporters back before Ben signed. They were discussing the Blue Jays and Orioles pennant race. One of them opined that the O's would win, since they would sign Ben and his insertion into the ML rotation would be the difference. Comparable amount of hype when you adjust for era.

Neither did I, but it was still a bad move and I said as much.

Machado was a most excellent player for the O's.

I wasn't pleased they traded Heim. Of course I'm rarely pleased.

I just wish the O's hadn't traded for him in 2016. I firmly believe they knew he was hurt and traded for him anyway.

Cal played more seasons at third for the O's than Batista did. I'd feel the same way about Smoltz on the pitching front for the Braves.

WAR is a cumulative stat. If player A produces 20% more WAR over 50% more games played WAR isn't going to help you.
