If they should fall behind Price would go on the market and they can't afford to lose him on top of everything else. I'm sure they can get more then a comp pick for half a season of Price.
-
I agree but is that a plus feature? (that alone is worth the price if it is, I use it constantly.)
-
It's the two stolen bases that have really made the difference.
-
Would they have given up a 1 for Cruz? I don't think so.
-
I figure it would be easier to find and track here in the *looks to see where thread was moved to* MLB section, so much less traffic. This probably won't fall off the front page over here for months.

Why? .....

They needed someone to take it over for an extended period of time. Lombo doesn't look to have the arm to do that.

But still....Baseball.
-
Yes, I posted a blurb about him leading the KBO in home runs last week.
-
Luke is in Korea not Japan. Pretty sure that he is with the Wyverns.
-
OK then replace 8 figure with multi-year MLB and the point still stands. If he hadn't hit a hot stretch at the end of 2012 he would have been looking at minor league deals last year.
-
He is a guy that went from essentially out of baseball to an 8 figure contract on the back of four good months. I don't feel sorry for him.

Like I said, could be nothing. Of course if it is something then I have a hard time seeing a 39 year old coming back from a shoulder injury.
-
So, Koji is hurt. Maybe it is nothing, maybe it is everything. http://www.masslive.com/redsox/index.ssf/2014/04/boston_red_sox_closer_koji_ueh_4.html

Well you are getting up there in age.
-
To be fair, the medical staff did OK a one year deal with an option, so if his arm blows out next year they are still covered.
-
You are confusing me with one of my sisters.
-
Couple of stolen bases as well.
-
Yea, even I wanted some degree of value back after the 2012 season.
