He might not be a factor but he could have been a guy that gets called up to make a spot start or take over a rotation spot while someone goes on the DL. There is value in that.

Frobby said that the neck worried the O's for 2015. You refuted his claim. I made a sarcastic comment about neck surgery in support of your point. Since, obviously, something like neck surgery could impact the rest of his career, and Markakis having neck surgery would certainly influence how the O's viewed a long term deal.

They were on the list. He used the power because he had the power. Me I think the Astos are in much better shape going forward then the Rangers.
