First off 720 or 1080 does mesh with me saying more than one resolution qualifies as HD. Secondly you can record at 8K and broadcast at 4K. There can be some advantages to doing it that way.

There isn't just one resolution that qualifies as HD. Apple might use 8K cameras.

I'm sure that the O's share of the Apple money more than makes up for missing a few broadcast dates.

I think these little side deals are just a way for MLB to further monetize their product. They make more money selling a few games to Apple than they do if they don't.

I wouldn't make it sound like we are settling be becoming like the Rays. Things could end up a lot worse.

It looks as if, in hindsight, the proper move would have been to sell off MASN when prices were at the peak.

I'd say the 1% is a scenario in which the O's make the playoffs and have a couple of injured infielders.

If nothing else the walk rate will skyrocket hurting some of the other counting numbers.

I'll argue it wasn't hedging. Velocity and movement are key components of "stuff".

Why doesn't each team have a few Jamie Moyer types? If all you need is command. Velocity and movement are very important.

It's more effective than commanding pitches without velocity or movement.
