Brown is right, we really cannot catch a break. We've also had some well hit fly balls this series (Mancini, Sisco, Mountcastle) that have died before the fence, yet hte Mariners are hitting home runs like they are going out of style.
Welp, can't blame the starting pitching (again). The hitting is atrocious and pathetic all mixed into one. It's a joke that Ruiz is still getting at bats with the MLB team
I'm not in Baltimore so I don't know how bad it is, but whatever happened to, you know... trying to play the da*n games? Can they really not play in rain?
And his command was amazing. Even the balls he threw were "good balls" - just missing off the plate on the fastball, or just missing down on the changeup. Pitches I expected the Red Sox to chase and they didn't. Easily the best start we have ever seen from him.
