Now we are 36-38 against over 500 teams and 33-23 against sub 500 teams

So… on July 29, we were 50-49… and now we are at 69-61 so we have gone 19-12 in this segment of the season. Against over .500 teams , TB, TOR, HOU, CLE we did better during this stretch compared to the previous 30 game segment We were 9-5 against those teams compared to 6-7 in previous stretch Against under .500 teams, CIN, TEX, PITT, CUBS, CHW, BOS we were 10-7, which was not as good as the 14-3 stretch of the previous 30 game segment. We need to return to the success against the under .500 teams down this remaining stretch starting tonight!!

If Toronto bests us then they should go, if we best them, we should go. Pretty clear for a change. Sometimes an entire 162 game season comes down to 1 game.. here we have a 10 game series to see.

I am so happy to hear the joy in Jim Palmer’s voice with the Gunnar play and with Bradish etc .. So difficult announcing and watching all that lousy baseball for last 8 years
