  1. Wells presumably .. currently at Bowie “resting” his arm one more injury or one more running into dead arm innings wall of any current starter from now to end and we are up the creek
  2. Not a fan .. too much for probably the dreg of starters .. too much sent in return and no bullpen lockdown help Grade for deadline D
  3. Link? There is no such report here https://www.espn.com/mlb/story/_/id/38036868/mlb-trade-deadline-2023-tracker-rumors-news-latest-updates-analysis
  4. Their PR eggs ? I can certainly imagine and indeed it is the most likely outcome
  5. This guy is on crack lol … proposes GRod, Kjerstad AND Cowser for Verlander lololol https://risingapple.com/posts/ny-mets-rumors-justin-verlander-trade-orioles-demands
  6. Well … guess tomorrow this thread will be moot! Happy Deadline Day! Thank God!
  7. Fuji needs to get his shot to be the 8th inning guy and Cano needs to be used less . Unless we get Hader lol
  8. Doesn’t bother me one bit. He became a mainly a Yankee.. they can retire his number
  9. The issue is not necessarily who was the better pitcher in the abstract but who was the better Oriole pitcher. Nearly half of Mussina’s 270 wins were as a MFY. How in the world does that top Jim as the best Oriole pitcher?
  10. The word “Interminable” needs to used in front of “Trade Deadline” wherever the phrase appears. Lol ITB for short.
  11. And I am not a psychiatrist just because I like to hear the sound of the word. Have a good day.
  12. Actually what I said is that “best pitcher” is an opinion, not a fact and thus subjective not objective. And actually as a baseball fan and psychiatrist/neuroscientist, I am marginally familiar with how opinions are formed lol And what you “believe” about me is inaccurate.
  13. I predict no trade made of any substance. Rich Hill maybe.
  14. Hilarious you are here on an OH site saying that my belief that Jim Palmer was the best Orioles pitcher is because of “nostalgia “ lol Some people always have to be right. They are usually wrong.
  15. And the bias of the modern day person against persons of the past they never saw is pretty well documented. You are entitled to your opinion. Palmer was a better Oriole pitcher in my opinion.
  16. “Best pitcher” is completely arbitrary so sure arguments can always be made from those who wish to argue. So, as a completely one man subjective opinion that is not open for argument lol .. No one I have seen pitch in an Orioles uniform did so better than Jim Palmer.. i was fortunate to have seen both pitch with my own eyes many, many games.
  17. “Retiring one’s number” .. such a quaint relic from the days when players stayed as slaves to wherever they were assigned and we thought that meant they were “loyal.” What is his number? Is someone wearing it? I think the entire bizarre ritual of “retiring one’s number” should be retired. He worked for the Orioles. He did his job and was overpaid. That is all. Valhallas and Halls are mythological things.
  18. So good to start off with a wild pitch .. how about a walk or two?
  19. Severino pitches 3. 1inning snd uses 80 pitches and gives up 9 runs Kremer gets just 2 more outs, 7 less runs score, but throws 87 putches
