I think Grod and Kremer will definitely be better through the rest of the season than they have been. I think Givens and Tate will help our length. I think John Means is going to help. And we have guys kicking the door in in Norfolk who can help us by taking over a spot if somebody falters or by getting packaged in a major deadline deal.

Santander just recently heating up, Henderson is a much better hitter than shown -if he heats up , it will cover Mateo cooloff 2. Givens and Tate returning 3. I believe Kremer and GRod will pitch much better than they have to date 4 John Means coming back 5. Westburg, Ortiz , Cowser and Norby will help this team..either by playing later in summer or traded

Gunnar has been not himself offensively since the season started.. now he seems all tied up , pressing and lost in his approach at the plate. He needs to get out of the pressing rut by a few weeks at Norfolk to find his stroke and confidence again. For those who say no, just let him “figure it out” by falling over and over, is there a timeframe where you might change your opinion? Allstar break if still way under .200? Later? Never?

Well that was a total waste of a weekend ..off to Tampa.. we are now with 2 game losing streak and have not had a 3 game one yet and have nit lost a series opener yet .. both at risk terrible offensive performance and zero stepping up by anybody today

If he is pressing too hard as a 21 touted as best prospect in all of baseball in a highly charged day to day, win now team environment… could he find his stroke/confidence in a reset for a few weeks? Perhaps So he might get back to his 2022 approach there, in less charged situation .. frankly he would not be hitting in Norfolk now either with his current approach.

Elias went faster with Gunnar coming to bigs than usual whatever the reason .. heck Willie Mays was sent back to minirs his first season, Mickey Mantle etc .. something is off and he is reallly pressing at the plate . I just think he is tied up in knots right now and is only 21

Gunnar needs an attitude adjustment as well as finding his hitting approach .. he is taking WAY too many pitches, needs to be more aggressive and his stroke just looks off to me .. send him to Norfolk, bring up Westburg or Ortiz and let Urias play more
