People keep bringing up injuries, what are they going to do if its a 2 week injury stint. Just send Mayo back down again and yank him around

They could limp to the trade deadline probably. But they can't have a repeat of last trade dealine. The lack of optionable guys in the bullpen is going to make it tough as well. Hopefully the leash isn't too long but it seems like they give guys enough rope to hang themesleves sometimes.

Ok, this is the team that doesn't like multiple rookie hitters on the team at once because of "adjustment" periods. So we are going to instead rely on a rookie pitcher ....

If someone is buying Mateo's spring stats then they should also be buying Corbin Burnes spring stats. In other words, don't buy them

I would take having Skenes over someone like Cowser or Kjersted but not Holliday. I am sure Skenes will have TJ surgery eventually

Not only his he on the team, but he could put up Chris Davis level of bad numbers through June and they still won't get rid of him. That's how long of a leash they will porbably give them

I know for one thing if Holliday doesn't make the opening day roster the national media will blast Eias and the Orioles for it, and for good reason, even more so if Holliday and Mayo don't make it. And when it happens, local media will just not question it and suck up to Kolton Wong

No way if he is sent down that its only for a couple weeks or months. He won't be back until Spetember to keep rookie status.

Its the Orioles so my guess they will start out as day to day for precautionary purposes, which will strecth to a a little over a week. Then he will be put on the 10 day IL, miss opening day and they will say progressing, and he will finally be back by end of May

A lot good they did Off topic that was the excuse used when the team wasn't hitting the last 2 weeks of the regular season. It wasnt true considered it continued in the playoffs.. Hopefully the Mateo PAs is under. With Felix gone and Bradish and Means missing time they are going to win as many of those games where they only score 1 or 2 runs that seemed to go through a lot last year
