Short term, I put Mountcastle on the IL and call up Westburg McKenna optioned when Mullins returns Slightly longer term, Orioles need to make decisions on Urias and Matteo...and that's when you get Cowser and Ortiz

There’s been some talk about Adley’s throwing, and he’s only caught 2 out of the last 16 baserunners attempting to steal. Digging deeper, his arm strength is 10th best, and his pop time and glove transfer are both faster than last year. This seems to have hurt his accuracy. My theory is that he’s attempting to rush to fast. Why is he rushing? Well the orioles pitching staff is 4th slowest in big league baseball to the plate, led by Bautista Add it all up and Adley is at 0 cs above avg this year (so he’s exactly avg).

You’ll almost certainly have 3-4 catchers. Adley is a lock. Bautista is almost certainly a lock as well. Think Mullins would have made it if he hadn’t been hurt, but that might open up a spot for Hays.

I suspect he will be when Mullins is back

Maybe O's should put Mountcastle on the DL, but I guess we have no options doing well at Triple A

To be fair, baseball savant is only making that prediction based on how hard it was hit and launch angle, it's not taking outfielder positioning or how much ground the fielder had to cover into account.
