Everyone makes an error at some point, but if you don't think McKenna is better defensively then Stowers, I don't really know what to tell you...but I don't think you know much about OF play

I've had a pretty long leash for Gunnar, especially because of his age, but also the walks. I'm rapidly cooling on the Stowers playing time though. O's have Cowser at triple-A, and Westburg and Norby have both gotten OF time as well

The Orioles need to add someone to the bullpen for the Rays series, and they need to add some offense, so 1) I would bring up Irvin (he provides length) and send down one of Akin or Bauman (or anyone not named Cano, with an option) 2) Bring up Westburg (Cowser or Norby or Ortiz would all also be fine) and send down our random third catcher

Definitely a very frustrating game to watch, for Braves fans too I’d imagine. And I think it’s just the nature of a game thread in general, but it’s also a little amusing

I feel like there is a middle ground between, I feel like the team is going to lose every game, and I feel like the team is going to win every game even down 12-1 in the 9th. Maybe, it would be nice if they scored more runs this game and the starters went deeper in general, but also the team and offense have overall been good this year

Feels as if, if you’re not planning on your bullpen going 3-4in per game, you’re probably not planning right. 5-6 from a starting pitcher is a solid start

the amount of griping that happens around here for a team that *checks notes* has the third best record in mlb & one of the highest scoring offenses is interesting

Also Mountcastle has bad luck, even when he goes oppo field

Frazier has looked very good against really hard pitchers

Gunnar missed two hittable pitches there.

The orioles starting pitching has (so far) allowed fewer runs this series, in the same number of innings (this is tongue in cheek, the Braves sp is much better)

I’m watching it on nbc Mullins works a walk and santander and Mountcastle basically swing at the next two pitches, sigh
