  1. Good point - would a 77 year old Jim Palmer want to fly cross country?
  2. Mateo's left hand hit the dirt and he lost his reach, and the SB. Oh well.
  3. Yup - line out to 1B and an OF assist for two of the three outs.
  4. I hope it's nothing bad. Take care, Cedric.
  5. Based on those splits I'd go: RHP) 1B- O'Hearn, 2B- Frazier, SS-Henderson, 3B- Urias LHP) 1B- Mountcastle, 2B- Ortiz, SS-Mateo, 3B- Urias Santander would be my DH for that one-game scenario because Rutschman is definitely catching. Ortiz and Urias could be swapped at 2B/3B but I'm going with the best defenders.
  6. Third youngest player on a MLB roster opening day behind Jordan Walker and Ezequiel Tovar.
  7. So uh... at what point during the season, if he keeps this up, to we consider Frazier an improved player?
  8. Not hurt, apparently. It's just a night off. McKenna in CF.
  9. Oh, for sure. I'm just pointing out that's the only time in the past 30 years they've done anything. Throwing some shade.
  10. In other words, only when the Royals are successful.
  11. 2+ seasons with a WHIP under 1.15 as well. So far this season, giving up 6.9 H/9. FIP under 3.6. Half a season, Cubs eat some more salary, Stroman takes the opt out for '24... I can see this. It's realistic.
  12. We all know they're going to be Yankees or Dodgers or something
  13. I know Vavra had a big base hit, but I'd feel more comfortable with Frazier in that role and Westburg (or Urias) playing 2B.
  14. All it took was a better schedule. The only real surprise here IMO is Boston.
  15. That series may effect Toronto for a while. Two extra-inning losses, the managerial gaffe, lots of bullpen spent. Brutal.
  16. Everyone's learning just how good the AL East has been in recent history. It's really hurt the Orioles.
  17. Givens is the only one Elias has to worry about for now, and Baumann makes the most sense.
  18. Go get Dylan Cease while he's not doing so well and his team is losing
  19. Cowser seems like a no-brainer right now with Mountcastle and Santander being Righty-Switch/RH dominant. Vavra vs O'Hearn - both are lefty, I think positional flexibility is covered and O'Hearn just got his first HR of the season. I think I'd rather O'Hearn pinch hit as a lefty.
