I think if Hicks knew Gunnar was running, he definitely would have swung. But since even Hyde didn’t know, Gunnar was on his own (and didn’t get a good jump, and it was a solid throw).
Agreed, at least Hicks got on base, and also forced a pitching change. It was a close game where we didn’t have the timely hits. I don’t have any hostility about this one, I just hope we take the next 3 of 4!
