7-6 with a dominant bowl win is a very successful season considering how bad this program has been for a decade. If they could’ve added a win over a big name program like Michigan State or Penn State then this would’ve been a great season. But it’s a step in the right direction.

Having 50 plate appearances over the last 3 seasons is a pretty good sign that he’s no longer a Major League caliber player.

It’s still a very good job and definitely top 25 in the country. If Mark Turgeon was able to get this team to #2 in the country at one point and win a Big Ten Championship, then what can a good coach do?

Seems like Turgeon had given up based on his recruiting the past few years. It was definitely time to let him go because he’s running this program into the ground.
