  1. I would think we are in on him for sure, but I doubt we get him. We'd be near last on waivers, right? I thought it was based on reverse winning pct. Meaning he'd have to get through Seattle, Boston, Houston, Atlanta, Minnesota, KC, SD, Cleveland, & Arizona (etc.) before getting to us. I could definitely be wrong though.
  2. This one really hurts. It feels like we're getting kicked while we're down...again. Brandon Young will have to be given a shot.

    Kevin Brown

I love Kevin Brown. I miss him every game he is away. The entire game feels different to me. He feels as if he is a personal friend to me already. Ben is also great to have on the broadcast. Geoff is growing on me. We have a great team. I liked Thorne but I actually like this team more.
  4. It was a ball. Probably too close to take. Not as bad as the ones outside they called yesterday a strike. But it was a ball.
  5. Yeah. Hopefully (dreaming) we can turn him around quickly and catch lightning in a bottle for a few months. And further prove the incompetence of the 27-84 White Sox coaching staff.
  6. I like to look at Baseball Savant pages but I am far from an expert on anything on them. However, I thought Eloy's page was interesting. I was looking and this year he’s averaging 92.4 mph exit velocity which is great - 91st percentile and 50.8% hard hit percent - 93rd percentile. And his squared-up and barreled ball numbers are solid and above average. But...his launch angle numbers are unbelievably bad. You want to hit your well-struck balls between 8 and 32 degrees. His average, AVERAGE! launch angle is 2.7 degrees. In contrast, Santander is a beautiful 27.9 degrees. So, he just needs to stop hitting the ball on the damn ground. He's smoking the ball to SS and 3B. For a hitting coach, this seems like something you'd be able to correct (not that I have any clue), if he's willing to make adjustments.
  7. Haha yeah, was just for fun while watching the game. I laughed out loud a few times too.
  8. On April 3rd, 2022 - Let's say the same Tanner Scott was on another team, let's say the Mariners. He's not or never was an Oriole but the same pitcher on April 3rd, 2022. If you're still with me so far, what would you have traded to the Mariners to get Tanner Scott on the Orioles?
  9. I countered you several times that you haven't responded to. Because you were wrong. I also asked you how Tanner Scott was a good pitcher in either 2021 or 2022, after the covid year. You do not know. In fact, you posted a blurb of stats that didn't contain either of those years. You posted this twice in response to me, even though it had nothing to do with what I said. He was traded in 2022 for a low return, because he was worth very little. If he was worth more, we would've gotten more. If any of this does not make sense to you or contains things that you do not understand. Then, I truly don't know what else to say.
  10. I just can't imagine someone being that stupid. I can't accept it. It has to be something else.
  11. It was better than releasing him. It was not a bad trade at the time. I'll criticize Elias & Co. from time to time, but this isn't even a blip on the radar of moves.
  12. An automated account responding via A.I. has gone haywire. Only explanation for this.
  13. Exactly, my point is proven. Thank you. The stats from 2021 and 2022 are not in there.
  14. No, you used Tanner Scott's 2020 (the covid year) as the main point in your argument on him being a good reliever that was trending upward. Then, YOU stated that "It was basically one year. The covid fake year. Which I don't even count."
  15. They don't mention 2021 and 2022 years on Tanner Scott's wiki page. That the OP used to pull the other stats. So, those years don't exist to them.
