Still highly disappointed at the lack of game film you can see for the AFL. I wish all games were televised/streamed.

I wonder if all of these guys will show up “in the best shape of their life” and the pitchers will have the ball “exploding out their hand” while hitters are taking “very good swings” and “some of these guys might surprise you in the future?”

Does anyone know about Nick Cuiffo’s status? Is he a free agent at the end of the World Series, arb eligible, or what?

Baseball reference unfortuantley combines his Bowie and Norfolk stats, but atleast they are included.

If they do, it would probably be in August. Like others said, they probably stay in Bowie to start and then get some Norfolk time if they keep doing good. They won’t have to be knocking down the door, but if the infield is still in the same turmoil it was this season and they are putting up very good numbers and the defense is good, I don’t see why not.

Unless they can work a trade out in the first 7 days of them being DFA’ed.

To be honest, I don’t see much movement going on league wide until they figure out the CBA and how it will impact salaries, time, ect.

He’s be a good option as a back up in Norfolk after 6 others get injured. Romine could be ok.
