    So now they have 4 catchers on the 40. I don’t see how Bemboom is superior enough to Godoy to make this move, unless they feel like McCann will be out longer than they anticipated and want a lefty bat. I wonder if Elias blocked Kolosvary’s number…

    For what it’s worth, the minor leagues have a lot of promotions going on that are official today, including some people moving up to Norfolk (1 position player and 2 pitchers.)

    Norfolk has no third catcher right now, with Godoy being in Baltimore and Kolosvary electing free agency. I'm thinking we will see some releases.

    Talking to a horse so dead, rigor mortis has come and gone, but I wouldn't look into Kolozvary being the one put on the 40 right now too hard. He was on the taxi squad, already in Baltimore. They needed a 26th player, who was a position player. Tonight, he will collect his meal money and enjoy room service. Tomorrow, or very soon, he will be a blip on the waiver wire.
