  1. I continue posting ITT about JH because I was a big proponent of him making the MLB team coming out of spring training and was pretty down on Elias for not putting him on the opening day roster. I was obviously very very VERY WRONG lol. But I am not afraid to admit I was and am rooting for JH to turn things around. As far as the posting overall? I have been in Vegas since last week and haven't been on here much.
  2. Well he isn't exactly tearing it up since he got sent down. I think he is something like 6 for 31 since? Which makes him 8 for 70 (roughly) since his call up. Which is batting around .115 or so for the past month. He has obviously hit a level of talent that he is not handling all that well. Considering his age, unless he really starts tearing it up? I would be inclined to leave him down in AAA all year until the late season call ups.
  3. Roy, man I love you as a sportscaster personality and more importantly as just a genuinely nice person. I do. But this is why I said last week in the thread you made about how the O's would get blown out by the Yankees that you are saying things lately that don't seem to be making much sense and many other posters would be banned by now for the same things. And don't get me wrong. I don't want you banned and I hope you keep posting for a long long time. You are a true O's, albeit very emotional..FAN. But Roy, read the OP. He clearly said those trade ideas were from a Red's message board. 2 times I believe. Cmonnnnnnnn man! BTW as far as the actual trade ideas? Laughable. Not even being a homer. But just laughable.
  4. Kimbrel is fine. Just use him every 3 days or so. No back to backs. Put the players in the best situations to be successful. CK with rest? Good CK back to back? He is just too old at this point. Nothing wrong with that. Is what it is.
  5. Kimbrel is fine. Just use him every 3 days or so. No back to backs. Put the players in the best situations to be successful. CK with rest? Good CK back to back? No good.
  6. Sometimes good teams just beat you. Is what it is.
  7. Why don't you actually make factual and informative posts instead of sitting on your white picket fence and snarking at people? I have provided proof of everything I have ever posted on here. Including real pics of my avi (me) and my wife. Who t f are you and what have you done besides hating?
  8. 3 for 6 tonight including a double, an RBI, and 2 strikeouts. Progress......
  9. All good. Maybe you can start making a thread before every new series the O's play and talk about how they will get destroyed. Reverse lock jinx in full effect.
  10. All good points. Good input. At least they won again today. I guess I should have bet them haha.
  11. I agree. Seems like an excuse to me. Play the best guys. Period. Every other sports team in the history of the sports world does that. Except MLB and especially the Os.
  12. See I never try to get personal? And then people like you get personal with me and show me how stupid most people are. Which I already know. I never had prized race horses. I grew up buying, training, and racing horses in Michigan (harness horses) that were not bought for mega money. I did the best with what I had and was available at the time. I worked from age 21 to 40 7 days a week, 15 hours a day. Zero vacations. I then sold all my horses and moved from MI to CA and became a full time day trader. Which I have always done even since I was a kid. I am always amazed at people like you. You think that working a 9 to 5 job, or in your case just getting govt assistance and living in your parents basement all of your life......is an accomplishment. It isn't. It just means you work for other people instead of yourself. Which is what a lot of America does these days. Work for no one. Take no risks. Hooked on social media. Hence why America's youth is beyond F'd up. People such as myself, and others, actually have the initiative to work and try to better themselves. Whether that be through work or play. BTW I have never owned a shrimping boat. But I am part owner of a CBD company. Which is a loser so far.
  13. Again I am going to use the race horse analogy since I have trained and owned 100s and 100s and that is what I am familiar with. With the 2 year old fillies and colts, which is when they first start racing, you don't break them and train them down to race only to sit them for a year UNLESS they are injured. The only way they learn and get better is by actually racing. And if they aren't fast enough to compete in stakes races for example? You lower the class of race they compete in to a maiden or NW 1. But you don't just quit on them unless they are lame or so bad that none of it matters. With Holliday? Ok Elias tried. I agreed with it. But he is obviously too young and too overwhelmed by MLB pitchers that he just was terrible. But at least he and the Os learned from that. Now he can go down to a lower level of class and get better. Machado? He proved right away that he was a class horse and deserved to be raced (played). With Kerjstad? How do we know? It is like saying I am going to race him in $100,000 k STAKES races and then keeping him in his stall for 2 months. I love Elias but I think his handling of the talented players that he has drafted in favor of less talented vets can be called into question.
  14. Actually, yesterday I had my brother bet the Os via online MGM in Michigan since he lives there and I live in CA and we can't bet in CA online. I am betting double or nothing tomorrow. Not today as I don't trust Kremer against that lineup. Thursday I will be in Vegas until Sunday at Aria so I will consider my options then. And yes I 100% made the bet because of the reverse Roy lock jinx bet scenario. And I cleared around $45K in profit on CAUD early yesterday. I actually day trade for a living.
  15. Pick a fight? I am not picking a fight with Roy. All I said was he is a very emotional poster who says a lot of very emotional things that if he wasn't who he was? Would be completely ridiculed on here. It is a big double standard. Everyone knows this. Including Roy. Hence why he does it. Here is how much of a 'fight' I am picking with Roy. I literally wrote this 3 days ago in response to a post of his. Does this sound like a guy who dislikes Roy? I called him a good guy and a gentleman. That doesn't mean I just suck up to him when he makes crazy posts like the "I think the Yankees will destroy Oriole pitching this week..." post. Wow. You are a good guy. I remember watching you with my dad...I think on ESPN doing interviews, and I remember always thinking even back then what a gentleman you were.
  16. I do think that at this point you either need to go all in with the youngsters, and kind of harvest your way through the ones that can adjust fairly quickly and those that cannot....or keep the youngsters down on the farm. This half in half out strategy is to me not going to work in the long run. Because if the vets fail while playing here all year, and being honest I have no faith in guys like Urias helping us win a WS this year, then you are screwed because the youngsters, who could have been up here sowing their oats, are going to be green as a 2 year old yearling filly racehorse. Call up the guys you want to play. Actually play them. Like what we saw with Machado and Henderson and Holliday. Some will make it like Machado and Hendo and some won't right away.....like Holliday. But at least you KNOW.
  17. Nailed it! For $1500. Lock of the week. Also cleared around $45 K profit on CAUD today. Nice day.
  18. IF he was just a Joe blow poster he would have been banned years ago.
  19. I told you that your prediction of a Yankees sweep, while killing us at the same time, was the best reverse lock bet I have ever seen. You are that bad. You are a good guy, but way way too emotional when it comes to sports. I didn't fly or drive to Vegas but I did paypal my cousin in MI and bet $1500 on the O's today. And I will do the same tomorrow. You are that much of an anti lock jinx bet. I would normally tell you to stop posting but like George Constanza, if you hate their chance to win? They likely will win.

  21. Barring a trade, I think you should use someone like a Suarez with Kimbrel and just alternate them every other save opp. Kimbrel is about who we thought he was. Pretty good. But not someone you want to overwork and he is going to blow some saves. Suarez seems to have the strike out capability that you want in a 9th inning guy. Only problem is he isn't going to be available for a few days. I doubt if Kimbrel will be either. So who do you bring in the 9th against the Yankees this week if we are fortunate enough to have a lead? I am guessing Cano but he pitched yesterday as well.
  22. Yeah the Perez of old would have been a good choice. Now? You just can't.
