  1. Yes, yes it will. It will be "umm, yeah."
  2. I totally hear you, not really disagreeing, and it sucks. BUT, I'm not sure that it really matters in terms of fandom. The vast majority of NFL fans won't attend an NFL game in person in their life. Another chunk might attend one or two games in their entire life. I know die hard college football fans who have literally never stepped foot on a college campus. Sports are kind of weird that way IMO. Almost by definition, as the sport gets more and more popular a smaller and smaller percentage of the fan base will see a live event. Taylor Swift can somewhat address that "issue" by going on insanely long tours that sample a crazy broad geographic range, but not so much in sport. Attending a professional baseball game is an almost magical event to me. The nice stadiums really are the cathedrals of our society in a way and it's just a special experience. I wish all fans could experience it. But a lot of them never do and yet maintain extreme fandom. Sorry for the semi-random post. I'm in pontification mode.
  3. I’m not hitting on you or anything, but you are a big part of the OH community and definitely an interesting poster. Heck, I’ve even streamed music based on your recommendations to the board. You go nuts every now and then, but that happens to most of us on here from time to time.
  4. CoC is interesting. Weightlifter guy is far, far from interesting.
  5. Middle school in 1993!! Man, I thought you were about ten years older than you are. It's the wisdom, I guess.
  6. First, Roy gets treated with kid gloves by basically every poster on the board. Roy is a very emotional poster/fan, everyone enjoys that he posts, and of course hopes he continues to be a part of OH. But basically every other poster would have far, far stronger pushback on the ideas that Roy posts. If you read the board, then you know this. Let’s not treat Roy like he needs to live in bubble wrap. I think he can handle somebody challenging his ideas. If not, then don’t post the ideas. Second, Roy’s post didn’t have jack to do with Orioles spring training back in the day.
  7. That’s an interesting factoid. Some of us forget that Means has really only thrown two “regular” ML seasons.
  8. Means finished the 7th. 95 pitches, 8 Ks. I’m shocked. I thought he was still injured given his pretty crappy outings.
  9. Excellent start this afternoon. Much, much better.
  10. Mr. Means said “don’t write me off just yet”. 6 IP 0 ER 1 H 1 BB 7K
  11. Yes, the team OBP/walks is a bit of an illusion right now. The top six hitters on the team have OBP between .360-.382. Santander and Mullins have very low OBP right now.
