It's not like they are getting "lucky". They are absolutely destroying the baseball.

Norby looks like a guy going back to AAA for his 3rd season knowing he belongs in the big leagues on this picture.

They're just putting up video game numbers at this point. Since O'Hearn has only played DH and RF, seems like Stowers might have been a better choice had they moved O'Hearn for something this offseason.
  5. Cowser is not good against left-handed breaking balls. He wasn't in the minors, and he's not going to be against them in the majors any time soon. There was no doubt he was sitting dead red on the 0-0 for some reason. Obviously no one wants Cowser up in that situation against that pitcher, but the way the bench was set up, only O'Hearn and Kemp were in the game and things start getting dicey defensively if O'Hearn has to come in for Cowser if the game ends up tied going into the 10th. Then again, O'Hearn is not exactly known for hitting left-handers either. This might be a good reason to have had Nevin instead of Kemp on the final roster. Have we found a reason why Kemp is on this roster besides keeping Holliday down until they gain the extra year of control?
  6. No, but that's covering a significant amount of at bats by this point. Now clearly I think he's hit better than that, but I do think he'll start to lose playing time if he doesn't pick it up by the beginning of May.
  7. Truth. Ragans was extremely impressive, even if it was driving me nuts!
  8. 4-2 was where we probably were realistically hoping they would be after 6 games. I mean, it took two walkoffs to make it happen, and I'm pretty sure the Orioles never led a full inning over the last 4 games, but won two of them so I'll take it.
  9. Well everyone started to think they could do it when they took out Ragans. Plus, how in the heck is Will Smith considered a closer for anyone?
  10. Like Rick Dempsey always said, Nothing ends up good after a leadoff walk.
  11. I felt a lot better when I saw Will Smith on the mound.
  12. Holy CRAPP!!!!!!! McCAnnn!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I never doubt them once!
  13. This is how they pitched him in the minors. Curves away, fastbal up and in.
  14. Cowser struggles against left-handed breaking balls.
  15. Oh no, that's not a good first swing by Cowser. Literally he was just sitting dead red.
  16. No way I would walk Hays here, I'd bring the infield in and pitch to Hays.
  17. Take the bunt off.. Let him hit.
  18. I don't want to get positive here because that never works out, but Will Smith is their closer?
  19. Well, I do have a better feeling against this bullpen then I did against the starter. 3,4,5 coming up, but not exactly a murderer's row of Mountcastle, Santander and Westburg.
  20. No way anyone can be upset for Adley for running there. It was going to take a highlight reel, insane throw to get him and that's exactly what Renfroe did. I mean trust me, if I thought it was a bad choice I'd say so.
  21. Good Lord, that was absolutely an utterly insane throw by Hunter Renfroe. He literally didn't even look and threw an absolute strike to second base. Can't even get mad at Rutschman there. That absolutely is a double 99.99% of the time.
  22. Very slim unless it's to get a fresh arm for the pen.
  23. That was a good PA by Gunnar after getting down 0-2. Need Adley to come through here.
  24. This is a huge PA for Gunnar.. And of course he's down 0-2.
  25. How many pitches has Senor automatic out seen this game?
