There's a big advantage to having a runner at 3rd with one out then 2nd. Infield has to come in so it opens up more angles, wild pitch, balk, sac fly, etc.
Alright fellas. I'd like to say this was fun, but it was a good game of baseball to watch, especially if you are just a fan of the game of baseball.
The game of inches and the Braves are just a few inches better.
They played well overall. One bad decision last night to want the Coulumbe/Pillar match up instead of trusting Baker to get the job done after throwing just 16 pitches and the Orioles would have taken 2 of 3 potentially.
This Braves team is pretty darn good.
Yeah, I get that, but seems to me that the Orioles hitters have been hitting at'em balls all day. We just don't have a lot of all field hitters who will make you pay when you leave that hole on the other side.
He's out.. I'm surprised he didn't head first slide to the inside of the bag.
Plus, noticed another ball hit right at an infielder. Good scouting. Our hitters have to change their tendencies.
