  1. Why waste another inning of Perez? Seems like a good game to give Voth a clean inning.
  2. If this really is the reason, then hire Odor as manager and get rid of everyone's best bud Hyde.
  3. You mean you were not excited to see a lineup against a left-handed pitcher that included Frazier in RF. lol
  4. Jace Peterson alone has owned the Orioles knucklehead outfielders.
  5. Some of these mental lapses reflect on Hyde's management of the team. Ever notice, there are never any ramifications for dumb decisions or poor mental plays. He's too much one of the boys than a leader who holds his team accountable.
  6. You can't win them all, but that inning was embarrassing. Just a clownshow of poor mental errors.
  7. Not a high IQ team for sure. Kind of explains the whole homer hose or bong dong thing. Not a lot of sense on this team. There is some talent but it's surrounded with some knucklehead wrappers.
  8. Lol. Hays is a clownshow like McKenna out there. Whoever is the outfield coach should be fired. Clearly they decided fundamentals and common sense was not covered this spring.
  9. "aside from last season". And outside of a horrible stretch in 2021 when he allowed 17 ER in 7.2 IP (19.96 ERA), he pitched well in 2021 too. I think Voth is fine as a bulk reliever, but he's been misused with mid-inning use. Do I think he's replaceable, sure, but I don't think he just gets dumped because of a few bad pitches.
  10. I just got back and realized Frazier started in RF. lol WT actual F is going on when Henderson, who looks lost at the plate is starting against a lefty and Santander, who at least historically has hit left-handers. Thanks God Franchy Cordero was let go so the Orioles could never play Stowers and then keep Bemboom and now Frazier is starting in RF against a lefty. Wow.
  11. A lot of inaccuracies and hyperbole in this post. I'm not saying Voth is not replaceable, but I'm not ready to throw him away yet.
  12. There's the brain fart Ryan Mckenna we know and love. Still doing this crap in the majors.
  13. Amazing how all three have looked bad.
  14. Stop with the language. That's your second warning today. No more.
  15. Hey, can someone remind me of the Orioles' three WBC members and how they are doing so far this season?
  16. He's hitting the ball as hard or harder than anyone in baseball right now: Avg Exit Velocity - 97 percentile Max Exit Velocity- 85 HardHit% - 94 xwOBA - 95 xBA - 95 xSLG - 98 Barrel % - 96 That's pretty crazy.
  17. The Orioles are riding their starting outfielders hard early on and not finding ways to get anyone else any kind of semi consistent PAs. It's hard to produce when you knw if you don't, you probably won't get another PA for 3-4 games.

    Max Wagner 2023

Too early to draw any kinds of conclusions. He has not torn up the pros yet last year or this year but let's see where he is in June. I get these 2023 threads, but sometimes you gotta let things percolate.
  19. He obviously looks much better and confident at the plate. I will say this, he's infectious guy to watch play. always seems to be having a good time and looks like a great teammate on top of everything else. He's easy to root for because he looks so out of place with his body shape and glorious mullet!
  20. I swear if they all end up with fever blisters around their lips I'm going to laugh really hard!
  21. I doesn't hurt my feelings nor do I think a bunch of 10 year old are going to start beer bonging because of it, but I personally don't like the optics. If the team is into it, good for them. I just want to see them need to celebrate often!
