  1. I think they may be able to get 2 out of 3. I imagine the Orioles know their numbers. Once they can get Showalter under contract and he passes the physical, then they can take the rest and tell Walters and Young, first one that takes it gets it.
  2. Yes, that is true, I meant anything over $125K counts against the pool money.
  3. Ruiz is a little off on his statement "No round 11+ players who signed will count against the pool." As long as they sign for $125k of less that's true, but overlsot bonuses like the ones that it will take to sign Showalter, Young and Walters do.
  4. Officially changed Fabian to slot number after seeing it in another MLB article. Also says 20th rounder Reese Sharp, RHP, Indiana agreed to $125,000.
  5. If I thought I was a World Series contender and was one reliever short, yes, I would. Plus Lopez is not a free agent until 2025 so he's not just a rental.
  6. Very nice and well laid out first post! Welcome to the board.
  7. Yeah, I'm goin to have go back and watch those games to see if I see anything different. He was so out in front of everything before that he could not get into any power. They seem to be using the IL to get guys back to Florida and work on things. We never really hear what their injuries are but they seem to come back and do pretty well.
  8. There was an awkward Tweet that came out that listed the guys in a jpg below as signing then the guy listed the players who had not signed yet in the text. i thought they were signed too until I read closer.
  9. Look at the stuff though. Bautista - 99-102 fastball, 90 split finger Lopez - 98-99 sinker, curveball, split change Tate - 95-97 sinker, swing and miss change Perez - 96-98 fastball, slider that can be unhittable Kreibel - 94-96, swing and miss change, cutter Baker - Of late sitting 96-99, change, cutter Akin - Arthur Rhodes like length guy Vespi - Slider and curveball that is even tough on RHB despite being lefty I'm not sure the Orioles have ever had as many weapons.
  10. Elias and Holt gotta get a lot of credit for putting this pen together. I have as much faith in this pen as I did in 2014.
  11. This is a matchup last year that we lost before the game started. Not this year, not this team!
  12. No, I am not tired of winning yet! lol
  13. Again skippy, no one wondered if that runner was out.
  14. No way that gets reversed.. Not sure what Hyde is thinking here.
  15. That little hesitation from Odor cost that DP.
  16. What a knucklehead umpire.. Lol Nobody questioned the play at 2nd skippy.
  17. I think he's safe.. Hell of a turn though by Odor.
  18. Is it just me or is Luke Raley having the best series of his major league career?
  19. I don't care if they wanted to, Mullins got a HUGE jump.
