How's that whole "Let's bring in two hitting coaches who never played pro ball as hitting coaches" working out? Owings was sure making some good swing decisions when he waved at a changeup, missing it by 18 inches. No real left-handed bats on the bench, but we have 42 utility guys who can play a bunch of positions. Not well, beut they can stand there.

This is what happen when you play position roulette with your major league players. The Orioles be like, "but the computer said you can play there effectively by playing different positions every night/inning!"

Owings is terrible. Guy can;t field and he certainly can't hit major league pitching. Somehow this guy made the team. Gotta love that computer program indentfying those diamonds in the rough!

Embarrassinly bad. Mismanagement, poor roster construction, and just bad players are why this team is not good. Elias, Hyde and the three knuckheads that struck out share that embarrassment.
