I know the Orioles have never released Elias' contract. We don't even know the years. You know, everything is a state secret from the ownership on down in this organization.

I doubt he's making a ton. Have they ever released terms of his contract? Do we even know how many years he has left?

I'm not sure anyone trusts the process anymore. Its only been three games into this season and I know you never judge a team early on, but this sure looks like more of the same.

I feel bad for him honestly. I know he's invested and I know he wants to win, bit he's been given so little talent over the last four years. The only thing is I don't know how much he's involved in evaluating the talent.

I really hope they leave Fry in until he gets out of this inning one way or the other. I want to see how high his ERA can actually go.

Once Fry comes in you know it is. I kept saying I didn't think he would make the team because he's not good, but I forgot that the folks making decisions on who is good or not are not very good either.

Tell you what, I kinda like this bullpen. They really have some strike throwers with stuff. Now if they can get some starting pitching worth anything.

I'm just going to try and enjoy a nice young team that does things right, gets the perfect breaks all the time, has every ball land just fair or foul in their favor, has good pitching, and gets to play the hapless EliasO's a bunch of times every year to plus up their record.

The Orioles hitting with runners in scoring position this year is awful. Not a single players is stepping up.

I do think the Rays are very good. But I also see a lot of the same old chinks in the Orioles team armor in these first three games. Same old hitters who can't hit with RISP. Same old starting pitchers that can't get things going. Same old hitters looking clueless against a pitcher they should hit. Same team that buries itself early in games and has to play from behind. Just the Orioles that we've seen over the last 4 years.

Nothing better then the delayed call on the pick off because the Brown has to call it off the broadcast because... Orioles.

Nobody enjoys pop culture references about the other team when the Orioles are sucking once again.

Disappointing 1st start of the year for sure. While he did not get any breaks, this implosion was entirely on Wells. He takes too many pitches to get guys out, work slower than a sloth, and he does not field his position well. The stuff is good, but he was not able to command it well enough and he doesn't pound the zone. It was literally painful to watch him pitch in that second inning. He needs to get his tempo up and attack hitters with his stuff and stop trying to strike everyone out.
