  1. Its too early to ditch the Lopez for closer idea. He stunk last night, no doubt, and a clean inning for Lopez usually includes at least one base runner, but let's face it, this is what we need to find out this year. Could Baker or Bautista end up in that role this year, sure, they coud, as could Tate if that splitter can stay consistent, but I'm not going to stress about the closer on a bad team. Let's remember, the Orioles went what, 1-for-6 last night with RISP and are somehting like 6-for-54 on the year in theses situations. The Orioles are 1-5 because they were domianted by two of the best pitching staffs in the league, and because they are still not a smart team nor do that have good roster construction. Lopez stunk for sure last night, but he's one for one in save chances.
  2. Do you really think these are Hyde's decisions?
  3. You've seen this show before, haven't you?
  4. And that is what McKenna DOES bring to the team.
  5. Mountcastle . RBI single to make it 2-1! 5-for-54..
  6. Well runners in scoring position now and no outs. I think we know what's coming.
  7. Bembroom sure does look a lot of more comfortable against Williams then Mckenna did last night.

    Moises Chace 2022

I was watching earlier but broke off to watch Norfolk's no-no attempt (broken up by home run in 8th). I'll go take a look though.
  9. Mullins almost made up for that bad jump with his speed.
  10. 19 in a row for Norfolk tonight, heading into the 8th.
  11. Hey look, a starting pitcher pitching into the 90- pitch range in his 2nd start with a short spring training. How dangerous Elias must think! He's ll probablt get hurt! Meanwhile his Fabrege egg is already broke.
  12. Do we count the runner scoring from 1st on a double down the left field line that would not have happened with a shorter fence?
  13. So wait, are we saying treating your pitchers with kid gloves doesn't prevent injuries, just makes you use your better pitchers less?
  14. three straight Ks with him on second. 4-for-52 W/RISP
  15. Odor should have stopped at first. Now we know he's not going to score! lol
  16. Let's burn through our bullpen before May! Let's just say unless he's hurt or tweaked something, this is ridiculous.
  17. Here we are, another season and another MILB broadcast year with no announcers and one behind the plate camera. Cal Ripken mustve learned his ownership style from penny pinching Angelos. What an absolute embarrassment once again to see our High-A team with the worse broadcast in all of the minor leagues. The Orioles should have kept their High-A in Frederick and let this penny pinching Ripken get that stupid five week season team.
  18. That is the way things work here in Baltimore.
