Look at these teams and don't look for cheap arms with alot of control. They won't trade them. Look for older, expensive vets or people about to hit free agency. Try to remember our teams from a few years ago. What bullpen arms on these teams fit this description?

I still feel like our offense isn't clicking on all cylinders yet. Santander has been down, Adley hasn't found alot of extra base power, Holliday has been a black hole so far, Hays was bad and now injured, Urias hasn't hit well.
-
What's the run scored per game average in MLB now compared to this point last year?
-
Wondering if we should give Adley an actual day off? Maybe Urias at 3B and Westburg to DH against the next lefty we face?

Mayo isn't on the 40.
Just DFA Banuelos

If Mountcastle is hurting, why not Mayo?

Can't option McKenna after right? They would have to expose him to waivers I think.

I'm curious if Suarez can continue the success he had from the last start or was it just a fluke.

Batting average leaders in the AL in 2016
1st-Machado (not surprising)
2nd-Trumbo (really!?)
5th-Joey Rickard (He was on that team?) (He finished with a .257 AVG and only played in 85 games)
Talk about small sample size.

Start with the Tides. 4ER in 3 innings so far. 58 pitches.
I'm not as concerned with the results but how he feels afterwards

Tonight wasn't a walk off, but a close one none the less. Give me the laugher any day. That one was miserable to watch, or at least parts of it.

It’s almost like he’s following the same pattern he did last year and will probably end up being the same 20% above league average hitter that he has been for the last few seasons. Tonight, he also had what appeared to be a nice catch based on where he was positioned, though I haven’t looked for the catch probability. I love conclusions made based on 10 or so games.
Does that mean he will stink again in October?

Wells injury was huge. Had him in their back pocket as pen option. No longer.
Means and Bradish injuries meant Wells and Irvin are not in the pen

Now, who pitches the 8th?

Even if we hang on. Gotta think he’s gone.
For who? Ain't like Norfolk pitching is tearing it up.

1. Will we score any more?
2. Will 7 runs be enough?

We resign Tony Kenp!!!

Let's seeeeee. I'm gonna guess that it's a pretty standard lineup vs RHP today after the off-day.
Gunnar - SS
Adley - C
O'Hearn - DH
Taters - RF
Mounty - 1B
Mullins - CF
Cowser - LF
Westburg - 3B
Holliday - 2B
I like it. Tomorrow will be the intersting one.

A reasonable opening day projection for the Orioles was probably 92ish wins, or about 44 WAR. Starting 12-6 you could reasonably assume that their EOY projection is something like 93 or 94 wins.
Baseball reference says the team WAR is currently 6.2. So that would work out to something in the neighborhood of 40 for the rest of the schedule.
Thanks. I think my math is off somewhere.

https://www.fangraphs.com/leaders/war?lg=&teamid=2
If I use this site and do some simple addition and subtraction, I get 6.9WAR for this season so far, which projects to 62.1 WAR for the season. A 0.0 WAR (a replacement team) would win 52 games. This puts on on pace for 114 wins. Hope that math is correct.

So, what's our total team WAR now and what does it project to?
Who is "selling" this year?

Thanks for this. Bring Harvey back home?
