  1. Norby was the lynchpin all along.
  2. Gotta do something soon before they get to Hader.
  3. lol I see we’re getting no hit by Kikuchi. Should have never money on this game and I don’t even gamble
  4. Oh no, let’s talk about Hollidays arm strength
  5. It’s all in the fine print about what it covers and what it doesn’t.
  6. Tony, Gunnar, Slater have all given one a ride. Just a matter of time before they find gaps.
  7. I don’t hate Kevin Brown, despite what you might think. I think he’s annoying at times and corny most of the time but that doesn’t make me hate him. Here’s hoping espn thinks so much of him that they give him an offer he can’t refuse and Gary Thorne can take his rightful place back on MASN.
  8. Shoutout to the dude behind the Orioles dugout wearing the shirt with the 89 fleer Billy Ripken card on it
  9. I forgot it was Kikuchi. I don’t know why I’m bothering. I don’t have a streaming service but for games like this I sign up for a free trial and then cancel before they bill my card.
  10. I don’t understand the harm in sending Mounty to the IL for the minimum amount of time.
  11. Not a huge Vespi fan but I don’t get this move.
  12. I hope Jeter wasn’t on their list. For me, it’s not unfair to put Ohtani in the top spot or anywhere in the top 3. This is an interesting exercise, one I’d have to give some thought to and come back later.
  13. This has been one of the more amusing threads on here recently. As for Crowley, I really don’t care one way or another about him. I don’t have particularly fond memories of him as the hitting coach here, what he was able to do/not do used to be a big source of contention on here. Yes, Markakis was a big fan of his but Markakis also went from looking like a .300 25-35 homer guy to a .280 15 homer guy while he was here, IIRC. If his comments about Elias are true, that’s pretty stupid…especially in the setting he’s in. That’s a lack of professionalism. But he also wouldn’t be the first crotchety old fartknocker who just doesn’t care about what he says or who he says it in front of. Same with the T-shirt, he obviously just doesn’t care anymore. A lot of people reach that stage in their lives, he’s not the first.
  14. I said before I think this is the one time where it would make sense to slide into first base. He also couldn’t run straight through the bag without colliding with Singleton. So in this case it worked out well. But this is the exception to the rule about sliding into first, IMO
  15. Safe to say I don’t have that problem. I’m a 40 watt bulb in a 60 watt outlet.
  16. I don’t like kids on my lawn. People can express their views all they want. The fact that they’re wrong/silly when it comes to wanting Hyde fired when it comes to the slightest bump in the road is their preference. But that’s the point. If they’re this quick to put Hyde on the hot seat after this stretch, imagine how upset they’d be at Weaver for losing two out of three World Series matchups and then collapsing with a 3-1 lead in the fourth? And yet he’s totally adored and beloved.
  17. It was awesome. I think the slide is why he was safe, he just mistimed it slightly. If he runs through I think he’s probably out. One of the few times sliding into first was a good idea.
