  1. I could feel my blood pressure rising.
  2. Third time through the order here. Hold on to your butts.
  3. Eh, the stats from what I can tell back it up. I don't know if he was truly elite as a third baseman when he won those GGs but even if you're just strictly going by old school errors and fielding percentage, he did get better over his career. By Rtot he was solid, too.
  4. Palmer called this guy herky jerky and deceptive but..I don't see it.
  5. With Mayo, you can see the tools and the athleticism. I'm not ready to pencil him in to third base because of Westburg...but I can see where he could be really good if he gets good instruction and works hard at it. IIRC, Wade Boggs was a butcher when he came up but worked very hard at it and won a couple Gold Gloves.
  6. I've actually been waiting for you to slip on that for a bit and I've yet to see it!
  7. I'm assuming the call. We all know who Mounty is by now.
  8. Then we have something in common!
  9. Think you'll ever let that one slide? I'm betting on no.
  10. Hyde looked like he was trying not to have a meltdown on that check swing call.
  11. Just said a few mins ago his idol was Brooksie.
  12. Oh my god, I HATE in game interviews! How dare they have Cal Ripken Jr in the booth during a game!
  13. More worried about Kremer than anyone in the lineup, really.
  14. And yet there he was, paying for a season ticket plan and trapped in a meeting with Mike Elias where he was able to air his grievances about how baseball has been ruined. The horror.
  15. How could you not? It’s your biggest strength.
  16. Wait, let’s just make sure they can score runs consistently in every inning first before we start worrying about winning streaks.
  17. It’s a hell of a feat. I know @DrungoHazewoodthinks little of it, but it’s still cool to see.
  18. Sort of. I‘m more saying it’s impressive if anyone after the 4th or 5th round (pitcher or hitter) generates any kind of war.
  19. This is a nit to pick...I don't really consider anyone who's drafted after the 2nd or 3rd round (yes, even an overslot guy in round 5 or 6) a bust. The chances of any of these guys making a major league appearance is slim to none. I wouldn't call Donta Williams a bust, I wouldn't call anyone in that round a bust if they fail to make it to the majors or are never listed as a "prospect."
