That is almost a Griffey-Esque swing. Griffey didn’t try to hit homers, they were just a byproduct of that swing. I’m surprised he’s hitting for this amount of power this soon after being called back up. This is the type of tear I’d expect after he got his feet wet a little bit, maybe sometime next year. It’s not a fluke, either. The exit velocities are elite. He’s making hard contact consistently. I am absolutely thrilled we did not draft Druw Jones.

It’s a positive problem to have. I dunno how it shakes out. I could see a lot of scenarios but I ultimately think he winds up at first.

I want to see how he looks in spring training next year before I start jumping to conclusions. He's not great now, but for some reason I think he can improve. He's not a bad athlete by any stretch. The arm is a cannon, he just needs to figure out how to dial it in.

I'm not completely convinced that he won't be able to get his throwing together and stick at 3rd.
